Constructions have been improved, with glass/pvc now being the standard, offering improved weights and better strength. The full wood is back and they’re also excited to announce a lightweight carbon construction firmly pitted at the serious paddler. Despite their predominantly surf roots Loco have unveiled a range of race boards for 2013. They’ll be offering a beautifully hand-crafted wooden deck touring class in both 12’6’’ and 14’ aimed at first time racers, recreational flat water enthusiasts and those downwind purists.
Wave action
For the serious racer Loco have developed a couple of performance shapes that are set to cause a stir at local and national level. In brushed carbon these speed needles are already raising pulses throughout the SUP World. Unlike any other brand, Loco’s 2013 direct sales offering empowers its customers by letting them choose their board, construction and then customise its features for maximum flexibility. The process is simple, choose your board and any accessories put down a deposit then settle up prior to despatch. What could be easier?
