In 4 weeks time, the first UK race of 2010 gets underway at Hayling Island. Have just come off the water having paddled the 4.5 then the 2.5 mile course and now just off to HISC for a pint to watch the sun go down! Looking forward to welcoming you all here for a great event.

Hayling Island Sailing Club is pleased to announce the introduction of 'Stand Up Paddleboarding' to this years most famous of Hayling board sport events, 'The Around Hayling Windsurfing Race' in its 30th anniversary year and first staged in 1980, founded by Peter Williams and Steve West, an event which helped pioneer the sport of Windsurfing in the UK, bringing prestige, promotion and notoriety to the sport. This year we're expecting up to 100 windsurfers and 50 stand up paddleboarders!

Entries will open Sunday 7th March

£25 entry prior to Wed 24th March
£30 from Wed 24th March – 31st
Entry includes race entry, Gul race singlet, curry dinner and party!

Insurance available on the day for £2.00, or current BSUPA, RYA or similiar third party liability will suffice.

Over 12'6" Board Length (Open/Unlimited),
Entries for Short Race Only. No open/unlimited division, only 12'6" and under.
