I_feel_swell - All on track for a solid swell at the end of this week.

For those with access to beaches in the south and south west, and with an affliction for wave riding, it could be a good time make a trip and hopefully score good waves!

Latest forecast update here -

South West - The small westerly swell we currently have will get a big boost on Thursday as a new swell comes in. Although it is not shown as very large in the charts it is of an unusually long period and will produce some really good clean waves for most west coast spots. These will peak at just about large on Friday and tail off during the weekend. The long period means that some of the flatter beaches will tend to close out, so points and well shaped beaches are the places to go if you really want a good ride and are a skilled surfer. Beginners should really beware dangerous rips on the main beaches and stick close to the lifeguards.

Channel Coast - Some small swells should make it up the channel later this week and early weekend
