Rich Morton took the win at this weekends London Boat Sup Sprint Champs, fending off challenges from John Hibbard and a super determined Pete Holliday. Hibbard and Morton, at one point, were tying for joint first place, but the extremely powerful looking Morton proved slightly too quick for the chasing pair of Holliday and Hibbard.
In an extra special turn of events, Rich Morton's parents turned up to witness their son take the event win, leaving the man from Wales brimming with pride.
Well done to everyone that took part and helped make the whole show another roaring success. More pics to follow.

Details were announced today of Wavegarden UK, an exciting new leisure development for Bristol that will bring surfing, nature, education and the community together to make a brilliant day out for everyone.
Up until this year, Tony (Anthony Crook) had only really been passionate about motorbikes. Which is fair enough. However, I (Tez) introduced him to the world of SUP earlier at the start of summer and he's been hooked ever since. Testament to this fact is that he joined me for a leisurely paddle around Chichester Harbour this morning on what was one of the coldest to date so far this winter.
If that doesn't show willing and stoke then I don't know what does.
He's even bought a wetsuit, a car to transport kit (after SORNing his bike) and is looking at a board purchase!
Another successful recruitment operation then!
Here's some pics from this morning. And what a gorgeous one it was...
We relocated our shop this year to Rhos-on-sea in N.Wales, it was a bigger premises and closer to the coast plus there's a nice little safe harbour, ideal for SUP lessons in the summer etc.
There is a surf spot by the shop which does work very occasionally which I knew about but more or less thought it was so fickle it wasn't worth bothering with.....then this happened !
